Plot
In a land untouched by the human race, we thrive. We come in many sizes and colors, we are a species among species. We are many. We are races among a race. We fight to survive, we supply our own food. There is only one priority in our life, to survive. Instinct comes first, no one gets in the way of food, if you're not strong enough to survive, then this is not the your place.
All you have to protect here is your pride, your food, and your loved ones. Chaos can engulf our lands in a matter of heart beats, we are fighters. Are you?
Welcome to 'Last Instinct', a literate role playing community based solly around role playing the feline race. This isn't your average house cat role play, far from it in fact. Last Instinct is a role play website for role playing all types of the large feline race. That could be anywhere from tigers to cougars. It's your pick, the only restrictions are characters must not be house hold cats, and must be of the feline race.

The weather is wonderful, the sun shines in brilliant rays of light, warming the earth and forest. The odd cloud dapples the sky, though poses no threat of rain or storm. Prey has grown plump and the weather promises to be nice for the next few days.

It is prefered if you were to post here if you are going on vacation, moving, etc. It's nice to know that you'll be on hiatus, at least then we know you haven't up and left without notice. Oh, and here's the place to go if you are leaving... forever. D=
Like everywhere in this world, we have rules. They are simple and easy to follow, I trust they will go mostly unbroken. =] Rules are merely to keep things in order, I wouldn't want chaos to strike, that would be sad. But yeah, rules, in the world of the wild, and the world of Last Instinct.
Here's where you may stop by to drop of suggestions to improve the site and what not. We're always looking to gain members and build a better site. Have any questions or suggestions, here's the place to be. This is also where we will place the frequently asked questions.
Here is where you can come to just chat with friends and fellow role players between posts. Play random games, chat away aimlessly. This place doesn't have a specific posting topic, we encourage random here ! Yay random !
The store. If you have noticed, every post made on Last Instinct counts as two 'dollars'. This is to encourage active posting and such. So after a while, your 'money' will build up, and the more money you have, the better. Once you get up there, you can buy things, such as colorful usernames, banners, site of the month, etc.
Here is where to come if you're looking to show of an epic website. We prefer role playing websites, though we're not strict on it, so long as it's appropriate. Come here to link back, first time advertise and whatever what-not you desire !
This is just a simple board where staff can come together and discuss potential upcoming events or ways to improve the site. Nothing special goes on here.
Within this board is a frequently updated number of lists, these lists contain the names of all the felines currently being role plays. Be they are tigers, lions, of even panthers, they will be accounted for. Here's the place to go to check on clan numbers, who's who, genders, etc, rather than having to go through profile after profile.
First of all, this is the place to go if you're looking to create a character in which you'll role play. Now, this isn't going to happen unless you have the rules code. That means the board is unaccessable until you find the right password. It's fairly simple, read carefully through the rules, you'll find it. =] Once you have the password, feel free to make a character.
Once your kitty has been approved, it will be accepted and moved into this board. The biographies will be placed accordingly. When they are placed in this board, you have the okay to go ahead and role play. =] Note: If there is not a sub-board with the species of you feline, feel free to make it anyway, more sub-boards can be added.
This board is optional, you don't have to make a journal for your character, I just find them interesting. It's like a brief recap of your character, personal thoughts of certain cats, loves, friends, enemies, etc. It's pretty layed back, not manditory, it just kills time.
Here is where our grand plots will be placed. If the site is undergoing a major plot, here is the place to look, though links to it will be placed everywhere. Anyway, you may also discuss mini plots and such, even if you want a big battle or something, post it up here. Please don't under go any major events without the okay of at least one staff member.
Here is the place to go if you want a feline, but you're just too lazy to make a bio. The owner of characters may post here saying they don't want a certain character anymore, or they could just kill them off. But if you don't want to see your feline die, give them to a good home here. With the approval of the own, and possibly a staff member [depending on rank], other members may provide an example piece of writing as that character, so not to stray personalities. Once the okay is given, feel free to role play with your new character.
M'kay, well, this is a place to go if you're searching for something for your feline, such as a mate, a friend, or even an enemie. It's really up to you.
The plains are a wide spans of open moors. The land is fairly flat, the odd hill rolling here and there. They grass is tall and over grown, easy to stalk about. The occassional tree dapples the grassy land. This area is great for large prey, deer, elk, etc. There are areas here where grass is lush and green, sheltered with the odd shrub. And there was also places where the grass is dry and brittle.
This is a large very large lake. Residing near the heart of a mighty forest, the large lake is abundant with large fish. The shores are a mix of pebble and sandy banks. Some areas of the shore are pebbles and small rocks, patches of course sand also mask the bank. Reaching a little further from the lake, reeds randomly paint the land, along with other moist shrubs. The trees and underbrush paint the land beyond the lake. Large prey is abundant here.
Towering peaks are just as thought to be. The towering peaks are large rugged mountains. The peaks are high, painted white with the cold elevations. The land here is very merciless, only the strongest and fittest survive. Around every bend there are deadly forces, from others felines to mighty preditors or deadly cliffs. Though life is tough here, food is much.
This is your average forest, it's not some rain forest, it's your common pine forest. The trees and brush here are thick, the odd splash of light brighten the area below. The forest is calm, quiet, and some what eerie. If you listen enough, you can here the bird song, or shuffle of potential prey.
This is the rain forest, full of exotic plants and exotic life. This land if very different from the pine forest, and yet much the same. The rain forest is always buzzing with life, the song of birds, the buzz of instects and the marsh of animal life.
The swamp is the wet lands, it's constantly moist here, the ground being soft and muddy. It's kind of moggy here, misty and foggy. It has a sort of eerie feeling, through the prey finds cover here. If you're travelling here, be ready to have muddy paws.
